MARGE members may also purchase belairdirect Travel Insurance (formerly MEDOC Travel Insurance) as an alternative to the group Journey Travel Plan. Please note that MARGE members do not need to be enrolled in a group plan in order to purchase the belairdirect Travel Insurance .

Be Aware of How Pharmacy Dispensing Fees Impact the Cost of Your Prescription Drugs

In Manitoba , pharmacy dispensing fees are capped at $30.00 per prescription, but you may pay as little as $4.49.

Our Basic plan has a dispensing fee cap of $10 and covers 80%. The Enhanced plan has a cap of $12 and covers 85%.

Therefore, the dispensing fees charged by your pharmacy can significantly increase the overall cost of your prescription drugs and impact your coverage limit balance . 

Please check your Official Prescription Receipt to see how much your pharmacy is actually charging you to fill each prescription. If the Dispensing Fee is not disclosed on the Official Prescription Receipt, ask your pharmacist what the fee is.
