The Manitoba Association of Retired Government Employees (MARGE) Inc. , or MARGE , was originally established in 1972 as an assocaition of retired Manitoba provincial civil servants , called the Manitoba Government Retired Employee's Association . In 2015 the association was incorporarted under its current name and opened its membership up to include retired municipal employees and some retired healthcare workers.

On April 17, 2024 the members approved a restated and ammended Constitution which clarifies and expands the association's membership elegibility criteria to permit a broader range of retired provincial public servants to be eligible to apply for membership in MARGE . Membership Dues

Memberships are by the calendar year and expire on December 31.Please note there is no membership dues for the remaining part of the calendar year in which you first join MARGE . Thereafter ,  membership dues are $15.00 per calendar year .

MARGE is a volunteer run association. We are in desperate need for someone to fill the role of Vice President of the Association.
